Victor Peters has been photographing for over 65 years. At age 7 he became hooked when he picked up his first camera, a Kodak Brownie. At age 13 he built his first darkroom, the first of several.
His focus is on the energy and ethereal beauty of nature, and he regularly travels internationally to capture rare landscape images. Victor has won numerous photography competitions and awards, both international and local, and is recognized by the Toronto Camera Club as a Life Master photographer, their highest designation.
His images have been selected, exhibited and sold in several juried exhibitions, including, most recently, the 2022 Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival “Forest Spaces” exhibition, the 2023 Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival “Reflections of Solitude” exhibition and the Kidner Gallery’s “Dynamic Earth” and “Fragmented” exhibitions.
Victor’s prints hang in many private homes, clubs, commercial businesses and public institutions.
